Domestic Access Control
Assuming that your gates are either manually locked or locked shut by automation motors, you will need to use at least one method of access control.
There are several methods used to control entry and exit, both of expected and unexpected visitors, namely:
- Remote Hand Transmitters
- Audio Entry
- Video Entry
- Keypad
- Pushbutton
- Timeclock
- Underground Vehicle Detection Loops
- Pedestrian Gate Self Closer
All these methods can be supported by CCTV as required.
In order to determine which of these options will be required, we look forward to meeting you on Survey of your property.
We also automate garage doors and can link the garage door system to the gate system using a remote hand transmitter.
Domestic Automation Systems
With over ten years experience we are proud to be fully qualified and one of the first companies in the UK to be credited with Gold Partner Approved Installer Status, for the installation and periodic maintenance of all CAME gate automation equipment and safety control accessories.
The Approved Gold Installer network is controlled and administered by Came UK, sister company to CAME Spa, Treviso, Italy. Came UK provides assurance of quality installations and customer service through the Approved Installer Network.
All installations will meet the current European Safety Standards and Building Regulations under the Machinery Directive 98/37/EC.
A full set of safety devices will control the safety of the system. Any vehicles or pedestrians detected within the swing area of the gates will signal the gates to stop and re-open to prevent accidental closure. In the event of a power failure, the gate(s) can be simply unlocked with the keys provided and manually opened to allow access. The 24Volt system offers a battery back-up, so that in the event of a power failure the gates can continue with uninterrupted operation.

Swing Gate Operators:
Frog – Underground Gate Operator
As its name implies this superb, much copied gate machine is designed to operate in damp, below ground level conditions. It is indeed the most popular machine with the discerning customer, who not only wants a long lasting reliable gate machine, but also does not want to see any type of armature attachment on the inside of the gates.
FERNI – Articulated Arm Gate Operator
The Ferni articulated arm gate operator is designed to automate gates that are hung from large brick or stone pillars. The Ferni can be operated by all the standard Came accessories eg remote controls, push buttons, keypads etc.
ATI – Worm Drive Gate Operator
The ATI motors are extremely strong and able to cope with heavyweight gates. The strength of the ATI motor is achieved by the irreversibility geared worm drive mechanism. All the models can be operated by all of the standard Came accessories eg remote controls etc. In the eventuality of a power cut the ATI machine has a key operated manual release mechanism.
KRONO – Worm Drive Gate Operator
The Krono kit is a complete system for a pair of wing gates upt to 2.5m each leaf and is most commonly used in small hinge geometry situations.
FAST – Articulated Arm Gate Operator
The Fast articulated arm gate operator is designed to automate small gates that are hung from any type of pillars or posts. The new Fast kits are the easiest and quickest to install within the entire Came range.
